Flipping through Fotos to left or right is not longer possible with S7, Android 6.0.1?

Flipping through Fotos to left or right is not longer possible with S7, Android 6.0.1

with my S5 I can simply go to next/previous Fotos by slicing a finnger to the right or left side. This is not longer working.

Works for me. Where are you viewing photos? From the gallery app?
