I have the Flixster app and was super excited to be able to use it to watch the ultraviolet movies but I get this notification when I access my collection "It looks like your device is rooted. Unfortunately, movie streaming is not supported on rooted devices for security and stability reasons."

Is there anyway around this besides unrooting? Another app I can use to watch my ultraviolet movies?

read elsewhere otarootkeeper app works - installing now to try on my EVO 3D for this exact reason.

appears to temp remove SU/root so you can use apps that are not root friendly like this one.

I'm running a Galaxy Nexus with ICS 4.0.4 and I'm having these same problems when I'm not rooted. Whenever I try to do "Watch Now" it goes to initializing for a short time and then disappears (I imagine this represents a failure). I tried downloading a movie and watching the downloaded version (*.mp4), but that also gets stuck at the "initializing" screen.

Has anyone seen this or gotten past it?
