I had a Google maps running at the same time I was listening to the ESPN app. When I was switching between apps the ESPN app became a floating Circle kind of like a Facebook chat notification. I could move it around the screen and open the app from it but once I closed the app for good I can't get it to do it again or any other app. Can someone explain to me how to do this again

If you open an app in 'Pop-up view' mode (option has to be active in the Multi-Window section in your phone's settings) by dragging the corner of the app diagonally or by pressing the multi-task button and then tap and hold on an app to open it in Pop-up view you'll see an action bar on top of the floating window. One looks like a screen with arrows pointing inwards; that's the option to 'minimize' the app into a floating circle. Remember that not all apps will support Floating-Window mode, so not all might work.
