Floating volume button from Sound Assistant missing

The Sound Assistant app has always given me a cool little floating button always on the main screen that allowed me quick access to volume control. Now, all of a sudden, it's nowhere to be found.

I looked at the Sound Assistant app and now there's no tab to be toggled on and off for this floating volume button.

What's up with this? Does anyone know where this button went or how to get it back?
