Flossy's Real Review of the Note 8

I've never heard of this guy before, but after watching that review, if I hadn't already purchased that phone, I definitely would be looking into it. His review was very in depth (I had to watch it in parts), honest, unbiased, he called Samsung out where they needed to be called out, and he has a cute cat. What's not to like?

Did you see Jerry's video on the V30 hardware? Pretty impressive. Curious what are you looking for in your next phone? The V30 sounds like everything I wanted in the G6. I think it would be my number 2 choice over the S8/+ and behind the Note 8. If I didn’t want the S-pen on the Note 8, the V30 would probably be my top choice.

V30 is an almost flawless device just looking at it from the outside. Very few weaknesses. The only reason I'm favoring the Note at this point is the astounding S pen functionality. I suspect even people who never used it will use it now.

I like the fact that he doesn't need a 5-10 second video intro before each of his videos. That is one thing I can't stand about so many other reviewers - they make it like a damned TV show - first have a few words, then this graphic video showing the name of the show or the person's name and this like lasts like 5-15 seconds long. With Flossy's videos, he just goes right into it with no BS snazzy intro.

It is what it is and I like his no BS approach and real world review. Some of the reviewers get so far up themselves I can't stand them which is ashamed because their actual review is good. I also like sakitech for his in depth tutorials.

Flossy is one of the few I watch. Funny but thorough. Samsung used a clip of one of his S8 reviews on their commercial. But, mainly, I watch for Xerxes. Shout out to the White Shoes.

Great extremely honest reviews with a cat to boot. He shows tons of cases in his reviews which has always been helpful. He has shown all the the Samsung cases for the note .

Anyone used Pixel XL before? Already find Note 8 quite smooth and snappy but seem like many still say Pixel is even better. Wonder really how smooth and lag free Pixel is.

I didn't have the XL, just the regular Pixel. It was butter.

That's kind of the line I expect from Flossy when he reviews a phone that's great but also really pricey.

And this is unexpected, but I am actually getting the Note8.

He had a lot to say. It was an in-depth review pointing out the good, the bad, and the ugly. That takes time. It is his style and why many of us subscribe to his channel or go to him for honest reviews.
