FM radio enabled on the V20? Verizon?

I just got the unlocked version and am running it on T-Mobile. NO FM RADIO!!! Installed NextRadio but says it does not have access to FM receiver in device

I could care less about FM radio at home or around town.... But to have to buy another device to listen to the TVs at the gym is annoying.

It works on my AT&T variant. I doubt I'll ever really use it but it's pretty lame that Verizon disables it and then offers BS reasoning for doing so.

I did a search on my phone and it doesn't have radio, however it DOES have wi-fi calling but most don't know that it does because it's hidden. If you use one of those search apps and search for it on your phone it shows up and you can enable wifi calling that way and buy the unlocked version if that is one of your concerns. I wasn't going to buy the unlocked version until someone tried that and found wifi calling that way. I like my unlocked version. Only difference is no radio and I had to download the visual voicemail app from tmobile.

I know this thread is dated but the FM tuner does work on the Verizon LG G6 using Next Radio.

I was also told Verizon units don't have Wi-Fi calling & the FM radio is off. What a squeeze play.

The Verizon version does have Wi-Fi calling, but mine will still try to connect via a tower if there's any signal (even if it's not a good or usable signal). If I put it in airplane mode and turn Wi-Fi back on, then it'll make a Wi-Fi call. You do first have to go into the advanced calling setting to set it up.

No true on the WiFi calling

Once you turn on wifi calling put the phone in airplane mode and test it. I used it on my Samsung S6 and its a great feature to have when outside of the US.

Just tested WiFi calling on my V20, worked like a charm.
