Fold 5 Car Mount/Charger Recommendations

Coming from a S22+ to my first Fold (Z5) on order. Any recommendations for a car mount with or without wireless charging? Thanks all.

Do you want that holding to unfold or fold and do you have a flat surface on your dashboard? Without this info, it is hard to recommend them because there are a lot of them out there for many variety of cars etc.

I was looking at a few on line and actually was not opposed to it being open, it would be better for google maps with directions. But certainly not opposed to the smaller mount with it closed, I'm used to that now. Thank you!

If you have a good surface and flat type of dashboard, I recommend that one. And that's what I'm using.

Great choice, I have those styles as well for my other car because the surface of my dashboard wasn't flat enough.

I have the UAG Pylo Pro, along with the ESR Magsafe Car Charger / Mount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HNBHSQV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details . I'm using the vent mount. It works great and I love the small size and ability to charge in any orientation vs the large cradle I used to have. I am able to achieve fast wireless charging when used with this charger: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBZ64F1C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details You may be able to use other Magsafe cases instead of the UAG, as long as they have their magnetic ring positioned properly.

Mag safe is nice, but it doesn't hold well when opened.

Thanks! I don't think I will be leaving the phone open, I have larger screen in my jeep, but this is making me look at other alternatives.

Yes the ESR mount / charger seems to have very strong magnets. It holds well with the Fold open, -even better in landscape orientation. I don't like the big cradles, and you have to charge in landscape orientation with volume, power / fingerprint sensor pointing down and inaccessible. The ESR Magsafe mount is a big improvement for me.
