Will the bigger camera bump be a issue? It looks like the camera bump is bigger and should be if the phone itself is slimmer. It will have a pretty decent wobble on a table.

Im upgrading from my Pixel 9 Pro XL and I agree the camera should horizontal however, how often do we actually use our phones on a flat surface? Coming from a long time apple user (glad I finally made the switch), I hated the wobble on all of my iPhone's, but I never really used it on a flat surface, most cases should eliminate the wobble unless its a minimalist case then you are gonna have to deal with the wobble or deal with a really bulky case just to get away from a relatively petty issue.

Love the form factor albeit the change from 6 to 7 is subtle BUT.....this is a big but.......the loss of SPEN usage and support is swaying me to NOT get it.

There is no way I can use this phone without a case, I know it takes time to get used to it but trying to pry it open oh man and I keep missing the fingerprint sensor on the power button. My case most likely won't come till the end of next week so tomorrow I'm going to have to figure out plan b.

It's definitely tougher to open the phone. Makes you wish they would have put a little lip on the side to lift with.

Yep I got the clear Samsung case with the phone (its only for the back). Even with that its just too slick and hard to open. I have a Clear Ringke Fusion coming early next week. Used it on the last 2 folds I had.

Ringke is one of my go to brands I'm sure it will be perfect for you

Yeah, the FPS/power button is almost flush with the body of the phone, which is making it difficult to hit.

I also have a crappy case from Amazon to use until the Spigen clear magsafe case arrives, and it doesn't allow much room for my thumb. I find myself using the middle finger of my left hand (while holding the device closed) to hit the button to kill the screen.

I think once we get our good cases we're going to be okay haha but like you mentioned it's definitely almost flush with the body

I like the phone but the camera bump makes the phone wobbly. Worse than the F6. Of course you can rest the phone on the front screen but then you can't see notifications.

I have a cheap "aramid" case and the finger print reader is a little hard to hit. Opening the phone isn't easy either, as others describe. Love the thinness though.

Was playing around with the camera bar placement using Gemini. They should have used the horizontal camera bar to prevent the wobble.
