I like the idea of multi-tasking, larger screen, onscreen keyboard, etc. But I love the camera on the S24U, the S pen, and value. Is the Fold a better option over the Ultra? Do I splurge?

I do have both the s25u and Fold 7
I would say the s25u with the Spen built-in and better camera's plus more durable battery life, but I do love the Fold 7 and how thin it is but it's mainly for media consumption and my tablet lol don't own a real tablet

I have both as well. For me it's the fold and the versatility for media, multi tasking and just fun. Camera is great too, but if it's strictly camera the S25U.
On my S24U I love the camera and assume I'll love the S25U as well. I'm just trying to figure out if the difference in camera capabilities is so much to overcome the versatility of the Fold.

I had the S25U and traded it in for the ZF7. To me, the S25U was too wide and long. The dimensions of the ZF7 is much improved and is what I've been looking for. I had the older iterations of the Fold and the ZF7 front screen is finally the correct width and aspect ratio.

I had the S25U before making the switch to the Fold7 and don't regret that one bit. I use the larger screen much more often than I used the Spen, so for me it was a good move. Lossing a little battery life and having a little less camera doesn't bother me and I don't really notice. Both are great devices and you can't go wrong with either choice.

This is just my own thoughts on this so nothing against anyone about this, but I find the nit-picking about slight differences in cameras weird. I know I want to get the best pics I can, but I am no professional photographer and at the quality these phones take pics at, why is it so crucial with the slight differences?

If I need professional level pictures, I sure as hell would not rely on my mobile phone camera, I'd get a nice DSLR or something.

For me, the camera is one of the LAST things that would make me choose between phones when you are at flagship levels.

Anyway, just wanted to get that out because it confuses the hell out of me, but I do NOT begrudge anyone that makes their choices based on this, it's 100% up to you!!

That's my thinking. The time I go to a professional photo shoot and they walk in with a phone for the camera I'll be leaving immediately. These are phones, the camera is just a bonus, stop expecting professional pictures from a "phone"

This is exactly how I would describe it as well. Loving the larger screen so far and form factor is much improved from the fold 6.

I have both. Im using the fold 7 as of now and don't miss the 25ultra. I never used the spen. I had the s25ultra more for the camera and zoom than anything else. I constantly take pics. So far the only difference between cameras for me is the zoom. But not a big deal.

For some of us cannot afford both a top tier phone + a nice new Camera (& a new TV, and a new used car ).

Just a Very humble opinion.

I'm with you. I can't afford a phone like this and a top tier camera, but in all honesty, the pics I take of my dog look great as it is, so I really have no need for one.

My real point was I just don't see the "normal" person needing to focus so much on the camera unless you have a very specific need. :P Nothing wrong with having the need and being picky about your device, but for almost every other person out there, the small differences aren't worth worrying about.
