Wow. I have yet to hear of this rumour until now. Not sure how I feel about it, but it would be interesting to see Pixel throw their hat into the foldable phone ring.

There's no such thing as "confirmed" until the OEM actually confirms it. But every blogger and hack writer puts that in their title to draw clicks, then proceeds to write about how a confluence of rumors make it something that might happen.

I don't doubt Google is working on one, nor that they have likely been investing time into the idea since the first foldables were released - unlikely they'd wait until they were becoming a more widely viable product to start, as they'd be too far behind to ever be relevant.
