Folders closing slowly

Hi

I keep my apps organized in folders on my s9. I haven't installed any new apps recently. Over the past few days once I've opened a folder, then an app and the press the home button to go back to the home screen the app screen closes instantly but the folder on the home screen take a second to close. I've done a soft reset, cleared the cache and booted in safe mode. Everything seems fine in safe mode so is it probably an app? If so how do I trouble shoot this, is there a better way than just deleting apps?

Are your developer options on? You are describing a x1 or x2 animation. Change it to 0.

Hi. They were on. I've turned it off but no difference

Actually turning the animator duration scale off worked thanks. However now it's a very abrupt transition. This was working fine for months so do you know any other fixes please

Change it to . 5x instead of 0.
