Font size of Pdf's

I downloaded many pdf's {most are medical reports. The font is very small and a chore to read. I've been printing them so I can read them easily.
Is there a way to enlarge the font without a 3rd party app?
I read that if you import the PDF, use "OPEN WITH" and then select DOCS, I would be able to edit the FONT. The problem is that procedure doesn't allow OPEN WITH DOCS.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Usually I open with Google drive and I can pinch out the PDF to view it larger.. I so I will turn the phone in landscape with the larger zoom to read. Hope that helps. Maybe as I'm not sure about changing fonts on the PDF

Thanks. That's the way I've always used but it's very cumbersome. There has to be a better way.

You might have to use Adobe Acrobat Reader for Android, based on this old thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acro...ons/increasing-font-size-android/td-p/8049008. But considering how old the thread is, there's a possibility the functionality isn't the same any more.

Thanks. I tried Adobe (free version) and it didn't work.
If I could find a way to Copy and Paste the content of the PDF into a new DOC, it would solve my problem.
I don't understand why you can't copy and paste multiple pages of Pdf's.

It's cumbersome because the PDF format was created for the very purpose of fixing a document as-is so it can't be changed, edited, or otherwise manipulated from its final form.

Of course, there are ways around it, and paid PDF readers and editors can certainly edit or convert PDFs back to regular editable documents - unless it's set to read-only with a password or printed as an image.

Adobe reader for Android can reformat a PDF within the viewer to something easier to read on a small screen, but it can't do it with just any PDF.

I know that's not much help, but just kind of the way it is.

Thanks for the facts about Pdf's. I didn't know that. It looks as though I'm going to have to live with the problem, since I abhor paying for a feature that I feel should be included in the Operating system.
I've tried various workarounds such as copying the file through SHARE and then editing it to copy the text.
I just don't understand why just changing the font alters the PDF'S original purpose.
I know I'm hard headed and I appreciate the patience of the users of this forum.
