I've got an s7 and I'm debating to move up to the s8. I want to know if everyday user's of the s7 that have moved to s8, now that you may have it for awhile, was it worth it.

Does anyone actually have an S8 yet? I think it's still a few weeks away. While some testers and reviewers MAY have it in hand, they are probably only allow to say so much, and it's probably VERY limited in what they can say. But who knows.

I have the S7 and was debating. As soon as I saw the unboxing event I bought it. For me the winner was the screen and 64gb on board memory. Then I touched one in the EE shop. I'm in love.

No one can answer that question but you. Everyone has different criteria.
For those who don't like narrow screens, the answer is no. If you are coming from the S7 and still paying the same price, then yes, it's worth the upgrade. There's not much to not like about the S8.

I will let you know when I get mine this week. But why not move up it will only cost me another 5 dollars per month!

I am in the same boat as you. I love my S7. I pre-ordered the S8, but it took me three times to order it. I would go through the process, then look at my S7 and cancel the order. I had the S7 Edge and it was a little too big, but the S8 looks like the sweet spot between the S7 and the S7 Edge, so I ordered it. If I don't like it, I can return it.

It'll actually cost you the retail price plus tax plus carrier upgrade fee (totaling between $750 and $900 or so), minus whatever you get for your old phone if you trade it in. That's how much poorer you'll be, compared to not upgrading.

I've always liked upgrading every year to a new phone with a fresh battery. I'm coming up on my 1 year mark with my S7, but it's running just fine and it's hard for me to justify upgrading to the S8. I cracked the screen about 3 months ago when I dropped my phone, and the repair shop changed out frame, glass, and battery in one repair. So, my battery is holding a charge just fine. With Nougat on board, I really think I'm good for at least another 6 months or when my S7 starts acting up.

I went from the S7E to the Note 7 (recalled) to the Pixel and now to the S8. Is it worth it? With an amazing screen, expandable storage and more bells and whistles, yep.

Like I would prefer the flat screen and 16/9 ratio of the S7. The S8 is long and thin and has curved edges making viewing surface even thinner.
