there are 2 places where apps are installed. system/app and data/app. unless you moved it or a theme you flashed included it, your launcher pro will be in the data/app folder.

ok , i know my reputation is on the line. so i do need to know what launcher is running..
i have been to settings/applications/running services/ and also /manage applications
also data sdcard everywhere i could get into and i can not find anything that gives the slightest hint or a launcher.. after this , I wont be asking anyone for the answer,, crap i dont want to appear dumber than dumb...
and i have looked into about everything that would open..
still n o launcher mentioned.. maybe i ought to mail you my phone and let you find it..lol

Are you on SC2.9? If you haven't installed a third party launcher, then you're running the launcher that came with the ROM, launcher2. You can find it in the /system/app folder

Does the bottom of your screen look like this picture with the box in the middle with the phone symbol on one side, the globe on the other, and the checkerboard in the middle? If so this is the Android Open Source Project launcher that comes with superclean. If you want Launcher Pro, just go into the Android Market, do a search on Launcher Pro, and download it.

EDIT - Just so everyone knows this is not my setup and not my screenshot. I just grabbed the first screenshot I saw over in the screenshots thread that had the AOSP launcher on it.

yes i am onn SC 2.9.1 with the EC10 update , i Installed 2.9.2 but the gps was sloppy for me so i went back to 2.9.1 thru clockwork where i did a backup/restore, used the restore back to 2.9.1 and added in the EC10.zip>
i moved everything that was movable to the "sdcard" useing apps2sd program .. i dont guess its really important that i know which launcher is running my phone but i felt that info may be needed in future updates/etc

at the moment i am in /android/data/ and see a few com's etc and opened all there is and did a back out etc back to looking at the com files.none say launcher no where not even when i could open one.. i guess it best just not to worry over it..i am at my wits end.. so if you have an answer ,,that will be nice..if you dont,,,,that will be ok also,,, i give up... lol
btw> i started at stock and have updated as the updates rolled in.. i did undo the EB16 as my fascinate went wild changing apps at will no matter where i was, i did install the EC10 over my 2.9.1 and thats all i know to say .. maybe i will run into it as i search things out.. thx

And you will continue seeing the EB01 build. The EC10 kernel is not a pure EC10 kernel. Adrynalyne merged it with parts of the Fascinate EB01 kernel. That's why it still reads EB01.

if you flash superclean 2.9.2 which is now EC10 based, do you still need to
flash EC10 kernel using ec10 zip file? I have already done both myself.
I flashed kernel then superclean 2.9.2.
But is it necessary to do both if you haven't.

Not necessary since 2.9.2 includes the kernals. You can tell since there is both a voodoo an non-voodoo version of the ROM

No time to read all, so pardon if already covered: NitroDesk TouchDown Exchange stopped working after EC10 (not sure if it was EC10, possible change @ Exchange server, but "coincidence"? not likely). Was prompting "refresh folder list" but that didn't help. Messed with settings etc., finally gave up and uninstalled, reinstalled, ran ActiveSync auto config and all good again. Exchange 2007.
