For those picking up their Evo 4G's on Friday, how far away is the store?

I'm picking up one from Radio Shack that is about 1.25 miles away and one from Best Buy that is 2.75 miles away.

Nice, I called a sprint store by me (third party), and they are getting theirs in--2 blocks away! Now I don't have to drive anywhere.

35 miles for me! BB and instant rebate! I have a radio shack in town, but didn't want to mess with the rebate!

Yeah, that's true. I could risk going to a radio shack (no preorder) but might not get it the same day, so I opted for sprint store. I did that with the Pre last year and got my rebate no problem.

Mines on the way to work, less than 5 minutes. But i'll be picking it up on lunch at 11am, which is about 8 minutes from work.

My RS is only about 4 miles away but on Friday morning it will feel like forever to get there. Just the anxiety working out. Just need to make sure I drive safely and get to the store in one piece. 3 days!!!

Getting mine from the Shack, its about 5 minutes away from home and 12 from work. It's out of the way... but I'd rather have a full charge on it before going home. The suspense is killing me slooooowly.

The closest BBuy is about 5 miles away, but the closest Radio Shack is a little under 2 miles.

I pre-ordered from BB but will go to sprint which is 1 mile away from me. If I don't get one there I will use my pre-order I have an appointment at 12:00

I'm in Santa Monica, so there are a few Sprint stores between me and my office in El Segundo. But the Sprint store I'll probably wind up going to is a 10-minute walk from my apartment.
