For those who switched from the Pre

BTW, I figured I'd mention that another thing I'm missing is the ability to set reminders for specific contacts. Great feature when someone owes you money.

I got my evo today and had been a pre user since launch. This thing blows the pre out of the water!

Before getting the Evo I always said I would go back to WebOS when they release their next handset, now im not so sure. I'm loving android and the only thing that im still adjusting to is the on screen keyboard mainly because i have never used one to this extent. The number one thing I love on the Evo is the SPEED! No more Pre lag, its heaven.

Like the Evo just fine but I'm having a hard time doing the simplest of things, like set the wallpaper! lol

I select a image from the gallery and it wants to crop it, I don't want it cropped, I want it to look just like the picture in the gallery. I've spent an hour trying to figure it out. If this is the biggest problem I'll have out of this phone I count myself a happy camper!!

Also, how is the Evo's signal strength compared to the Pre? Do you notice better or worse signal?

The EVO has a better reciever than the Pre, I was in my friends basement last night and I was able to go onto the internet to view song lyrics and I also used the Sirius /XM app perfectly.

the Pre wasn't able to do the internet as well from the same location....

If I had a verizon Pre Plus on the day the SPRINT pre launched on sprint's network (free hotspot- enough ram to have 50 apps open simultaneously- full exchange support from day one) my user experience may have been less tarnished

People like this just frustrate and anger me a bit. You got to be FIRST ADOPTERS! You should have any kind of tarnish!


You should be proud that you were a forefather! If you didnt like what you got as..Way before anyone else.. then why did you?
