Just curious if you had to give up the flex lease plan when you upgraded to Note 20 through the Sprint/T-Mobile site? The rep stated I no longer have the flex lease option.
I have/had sprint. I upgraded and was told we should be getting an email letting us know the plans t mobile have that are similar to what we have. Choose it or another by this date or go to another provider is what I told.
Be careful...a lot of things has changed with sprint since this merger and they never informed the customers of this.
I know I recognized that their upgrade eligibility changed in my case. I went to preorder the Note 20 Plus and had to pay a $400 down payment. With Sprint before the merger, we never had a down payment. Also if you have Sprint setup a payment arrangement, they now charge $10.
When I contacted Sprint Customer Service, I was also told they are making the upgrade eligibility and new line process more in line with T-Mobile itself and also phasing out the leasing option and only offering the installments. However if a customer request to have a lease option, they will honor it. But they will push the installment option.
I complained and actually filed a complaint with BBB against Sprint (part of T-Mobile) regarding the changing of the upgrade eligibility and that it seems like the contract terms were broken which if the case, voids the leasing terms/contracts.
Someone from Sprint Executive Team contacted me and confirmed the changes and said that they’re many more changes coming as well. He didn’t really get too much into the matter of the changes violating my current leasing agreement. Instead attempted to reason with me about the changes.
Nonetheless, I would keep an eye out on your account for many other changes and unknown fees.
Yes, I was hit with unknown fees and charges on my account. I even had a line and a tracker device added to the account from preordering the note 20u. I can't any information about upgrading in the future since my current has changed. Things changed and the only warning or notice I had was sprint has now merged with tmobile
