For Walmart - Switched from Samsung Pay to Walmart Pay app, works great...

I know I'm late on this thread but I would not recommend Samsung Pay at Walmart. I had a double charge issue where the bank and Walmart couldn't remove it and I had to wait a week for it to fall off.

I just recently used Walmart Pay and it is excellent so far. Very fast and your receipt is stored in the Walmart app.

Samsung pay is definitely a hit and miss and unreliable.

It's hit and miss in certain areas from the sounds of it. My area is all hit. Never had an issue. But that said the Walmart pay app is very good and functional. Just feels wierd not getting a paper receipt! Almost like you didn't pay at all!

I also use Walmart Pay but that's only because I have my associate discount card attached to it and it automatically 'swipes' both the discount card and the debit card (and or any gift cards available) with just one step. Gotta love technology!

Samsung pay doesn't work at my local Walmart (not that I really go there that often). It gets declined, and says to use chip reader.

It works at my Wal-Mart and sams club every time, but I run it as debit.
