I flashed IHO Backside onto my Optimus, and whenever I was to go to ATK Free and force close a app a confirmation appears asking me are you sure you want to force close this app. This is very annoying and I didn't have this come up when I was using my rooted stock Froyo. Anyone know how to make it stop asking me if I want to force close the app whenever I hit force close?

Once you are rooted, there is no need for ATK.

The only good reason for ATK is for closing problematic apps you can't uninstall. Since you are rooted, you can remove them, get rid of them and find better alternatives. Same for the rom, if it's npot working how you like, there are quite a few good roms for the OV. While many are no longer supported and out of date, most still work well.

That didn't really answer my question. And it's not ATK's fault too. I go to Application>Manage Applications and hit force close it still brings up a pop up asking if I want to force close the app.

For some reason this was happening to me when I install ups app on my OV. Uninstalled and no more force closes. What is the lastest app you have downloaded.? Could be the problem.

Well it's not a app force closing on me. But you know when you open a application, lets say for example Google Maps. And you are done with that app so you go to force close it out so it's not running in the background anymore. Well when I hit the force close on the app detail screen it come up with a popup that says are you sure you want to force close this app. How so I make it so whenever I hot force close that popup doesn't show up.

Cause when I was in my rooted stock Froyo rom this never happened.

You don't need ATK. Goto applications-development and check "stop app via long press". Then, when you want exit an app just long press the back button and it will kill the app. This feature is in all the IHO roms.

More to the point then.

Any time you do something that could cause problems you should be prompted. Maybe they changed the app for the better.

Annoying is accidentally closing the wrong app, or soft bricking your phone.

It is a protection feature. Force closing an app is not recommended, as it can cause file corruption and other forms of damage.
