Force Dark Mode On Any App Android 10

So far so good, even got one of my bright widgets to go into dark mode so it matches the rest of my widgets and theme. For some reason the app for that widget refuses to go into dark mode though.
Maybe restart?

Tried that, it won't change, also my edge panel apps don't change either but that's fine.
Not sure , haven't tried it yet..i was going to today then get tied up with family .
Now does this method do better job then developer setting forcing?

Yes it does. The developer option didn't change many of the apps when I tried it. Unless I did it wrong

Just realized, and they do state it in the direction but I thought they meant a data reset but no they meant restart. So if you restart your phone, u do have to plug your phone back into the pc to run the script again for it to work. So everytime you restart your phone u have to run adb for the app to work again.

I saw that too. Otherwise I would do this. I restart my phone at least weekly, if not more often. UGH. I was looking for something more permanent. but we'll get there. Its getting more and more common...

Thats not good:(

No it's not! Very annoying. Luckily I usually only restart once a week or two
I didn't do it since you guys mentioned it has to be re done after a reboot, but yeah if you dont do reboot often then should be ok or have automatic restart once a day in device care

Not sure if this does any more than the force dark mode in developer options. But, the one I use doesn't rewrote any hooking up to the PC (that would be even more annoying), but when I do restart the phone, I have to go back into developer options and turn it back on.

But it does force dark on every app.

In my experience it definitely does more than dark mode in developer options. For instance in developer options force dark mode, my bank apps and shopping apps didn't go into dark mode, but with the darq app, they do, even got Google play music in dark mode. The only apps I havn't been able to get dark is my agenda app called penocle, Amazon and my edge panel apps.

Mine is actually opposite of that. All of my apps are black including banking, shopping (Amazon, ebay, etc), reading/ news app(flipboard), all the Samsung and Google apps, security apps, 3d printing app, my aquarium controller app, honestly everything. I don't social media, so can't speak for those, but also my Tapatalk is completely dark.. But every app is dark on the device now that I think of it. Maybe it's dependent on carrier/ region. Not sure, but it's seeming like so much is dependent on that factor at this point.

I just wish it would stick, in that I don't have to turn it on again after every restart.

I think we actually are saying mostly the same thing , I agree the darq app is better than developer option force dark mode.

Lol, I don't think we are as I don't use that darq app, and only use developer options force dark mode.
