Force phone to 3G?

I have an unrooted Note3 on verizon, while at my office I have almost all bars it shows 4G but yet data throughput very poor and sometimes none. I've noticed that when my phone drops to 3G in the office I get good throughput.

Does anyone know of a way to force my phone to 3G?

I have no issus outside of my office. Any help would be appreciated.

Usually there's a switch to turn 4G data off... you can always go to Settings, Mobile Networks, Network Mode.

Now, this is all based on assumptions as my Note 3 is an International version, so it's 3G only, but most of the time that's where you can do it.
