Force Update to 4.4

Every time an OTA update is released this same argument ALWAYS ensues. Clearing the Google Framework is a tried and true way to force an update. Yes it's risky, but yes it works. I have cleared the Google Framework to get the last 2 updates on my Nexus 4 as well as my Nexus 10. I have never had an issue.... although some people have. Most issues people had are easily cleared up by removing thier Google account and adding it again.

I don't understand tech speak. You need to put it in common english

basically what i did was downloaded the OTA zip renamed as as update.zip booted into stock recovery by keeping volume down and power down then selected recovery select update from zip option choose the zip file . it will take take it time and VOILA!

There's no Google services framework on my Htc desire which runs Android 2.3.3, it's an AT&T locked cellphone which can only update through AT&T services, but unfortunate this phone was out of contract and couldn't update at all, I tried to force stop Android system on this phone but it doesn't work, is there a way to update to 4.4,I plan to destroy this cellphone since it outdated and have NO USE unless it get updated, so don't worry about any suggestion that may destroy this phone at all. thank you very much! :'(
