forgot alternative password

Hi i have forgoton my alternative password for my S7 its ok when im using the fingerprint but when it restarts its a pain getting it unlocked again through find my Samsung.
is there a way to wipe the password i have backed everything up on smart switch on my pc but if i wipe my phone and then restore from back up will it not put the password back on again thanks

Does Find My Mobile let you change the password, or change the screen lock method?

it lets me put a 4 digit password in which sends to the phone so i can unlock it but i still cant change the alternative password.
if i try and delete the fingerprints so that the alternative password deletes too it ask me for the password as well

I think you may not have much choice but to do a factory reset and restore your data. I don't believe the fingerprint or backup password will be restored, but I've never tried it before.
