Forgotten Screenlock Pin

My daughter locker screen with the PIN number and forgot it and I didn't want to have to factory reset. I do however have access to the files through Androidlost and was wondering if there's a file that contains that pin number.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I'm sure there is a location for the pin, not necessarily a file but a memory location and its probably encrypted to where you can't read it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming the same thing but thought I would throw this out there anyway. I have also read that you can do it through your Google account but have not gotten before gotten prompt to do so yet.

No problem. Sorry can't help there. Pin locks are nice but if you don't have the access code your out of luck aside from a factory reset.

Sure I used the androidlost app but you have to give the app admin rights first in the options. That app is completely awesome by the way.

try to install "screen Lock Reset" from google play
it may do the job for you

If you input the incorrect Pin Number X number (not sure how many attempts is needed) of times it will ask for your Google password to unlock the phone.
