Format SD as internal?

I got an SD card for my G6 and for the life of me I can't find the option to format the SD card as internal.

Anyone able to do that or know where the option is?

I've never seen any spec for the g6 saying that it supports adaptive storage

Well that sucks... I use whatsapp as my primary messaging service and the pictures and videos take up a lot of space quickly. From what I can tell there isn't any way for these to be saved to SD automatically either and basically when I run out of space I have to manually move them.

Anyone have any other tips or tricks for saving storage space? I previously had the S6 which also had the small internal storage and I basically had to back up and delete app my pictures and videos. I know the built in camera can store to SD by default, which I've set up, but that's only a fraction of what actually takes up space...

You could always configure google photos to automatically upload your WhatsApp photos to the cloud.

If you open the sd card is there any settings options or info , on my Moto G5 inside of the sd card if gives choice for internal format or format ?

You can move most of the apps to your SD.
