format SD card

Got my u11 and a new 128gb micro sd card. Should I format it for internal storage or use it as is? Suppose to be ready to go. I know some where down the road I,ll flash a rom. Thanks

I was going to post this same question today. It seems some people are concerned about adopting storage because cards have a higher failure rate than internal memory, so what would happen if an adopted card failed? I thought it'd be a no brainer, but 64 GB internal should be enough to handle all the system and app files, while putting media onto the card.

thanks for the info. got Samsung evo as portable storage.

I would say keep it removable as well as they are prone to failures and you don't want to miss all the files just because of that.
