Former Bionic Owners??

Just wondering how many people came from the Bionic? I loved it! What are your opinions of the RAZR vs. Bionic? Personally, I think the Razr is just as good! I had the Charge before the Bionic (Charge is WORTHLESS!) But I started to miss my AMOLED screen. Enter Droid RAZR! It seems as responsive as the Bionic, a little quicker on the web, and has EXCELLENT reception. Just would like to hear some other opinions before selling the Bionic, or my 14 Day window is gone.

P.S.
Battery has not been an issue! It holds up just as long as the Bionic, and will get me about 10 Hours between charges.

Re: Fromer Bionic Owners???

I traded in my Bionic about a week after getting it when this came out. The display isn't perfect but still looks a lot better than the Bionic's...I think you'd be happier there. As far as phone performance it isn't that much faster, but it is a slight improvement. Camera is hands down much better and much quicker to capture photos.

Also, the build quality and reception on the Razr seem to be much better.

Depending on how much you spent on the Bionic and what your price difference would be, I'd say it's a no brainer to swap it out...provided that your heavy use (10 hours between charges is heavy based on what I've been able to get out of the Razr) doesn't make it more worth your while just to keep the Bionic and buy a spare battery, as it's removable and the Razr's is not.

Thanks for the input, With corporate disc. I got both Bionic and RAZR for $250, and feel I cold easily get that out of the Bionic even if I sit on it. I had another battery on the Bionic, but I can live with plugging the RAZR in. I should have mentioned earlier that I AM leaning toward keeping it. My experience with the Charge is what will keep me from buying the Nexus.

I'm much happier with my Razr!

The AMOLED screen still amazes me every time I look at it.

It feels faster and has very good GPU performance. Riptide GP runs buttery smooth.

Best part is I only paid $40 to switch.

I sold my Thunderbolt and bought a Bionic. I had the Bionic for about a week before the RAZR was announced. On the 14th day I took the Bionic and Lapdock back, and just bought a used Droid X2 from the local classifieds to get me by for 3 weeks.

I had no complaints with the Bionic other than the fact that you could see a "grid" on the screen. I do like the RAZR more, and the battery life is better on the RAZR.

I love how THIN the RAZR is. Everyone that sees it is in awe at how thin it is.

I have NO PROBLEM whatsoever with the RAZR, but I do miss the lapdock. The Lapdock100 seemed a little cheesy, so I'm holding out for the Lapdock500 Pro. Once that hits I'll be completely satisfied.

I switched cause I was within the 90 days at costco... I had to pay a difference of 10 bucks. I like the razr better than the Bionic.

Been happy with the Razr but I'm still undecided on making the switch to the Nexus when it drops.

I have about $120 in best buy discounts. I am debating the bionic for free or the razr for $30 after discounts. They are so similar. Does the amoled screen hurt the razr in the battery life dept.? Is the sealed battery that big of deal? I will be coming from a Droid Charge and my battery life on it is decent since I am not a heavy user. I am trying to decide if the Razr is worth the $30 extra bucks. I am not a phone junky and just need a phone that can make and receive calls, so I am not willing to pay the extra for a Maxx. Thanks for any input out there.

Get the Razr. It's definitely worth the extra $30.

It also has smart actions, which will make your standby time better than the Bionic.

I got the Bionic on launch day and was pretty happy with it until it started either rebooting itself at random times or just not waking up from sleep. The screen would stay off and the only way to fix it was to do a battery pull.

I returned the Bionic and now have the Razr. It is a much better phone with no problems at all. Just be aware that it has a sealed battery. Also, if you want better battery life, I suggest you get the Razr Maxx - same hardware except bigger battery.

Screw the Bionic.

Verizon is already getting ready to probably announce that it won't see an upgrade to ICS. I returned mine for the Nexus.

The Bionic lost its flagship status the second it got delayed. Not to mention the huge price drop a month later with the unveiling of the Droid Razr.

I feel sorry for those that still have the Bionic.
