Is there any information available to others as to why someone received a ban, and for how long?

Out of respect for the privacy of our members, that information is private. This includes the length, as the length is usually dictated by the infraction points.

Per the forum rules :


" No discussions on warnings, infractions or bans between a Mod and user is to be made public. No exceptions!"

Madd54 has been a solid contributor to the AC Forums, and has always shown a desire to help other members. I'm sure that he has a good reason for asking.

Yes, he has contributed alot to A/C and helped out many members with his advice/experience.

^^ I am referred to in the third party, it was not addressed to me, so it did not contain a question I could or care to answer; but please carry on discussing your views on my life here, or add a smiley if it was in jest.

As B. Diddy kindly said, I may have good reasons for the thread.

There are one or two people I regarded highly for a long time, but I can accept I can not know the full story in some instances.
I accept the process, with some reservations, and will let it rest for now.

As Moderator dpham00 explained everything is left private when pertaining to the infraction system. Only the Mod team and the member receiving the warning/infraction is notified and no other information regarding the reason why, actual infraction type and length of time is given outside of these two parties.
