Forum subscription instant notification emails

Y doesn't a forum subscription offer instant email notification like a thread does? Thx.

Are you asking if there's a way to get an email every time a new thread is created in a forum? It's not stock vBulletin functionality, and I'd have concerns about server load if I added something to do this.

Actually I was asking for worse...every post w/in a forum It's just much easier for me to keep up w/that way as I have small blocks of time instead of larger ones. I'm sure this would be too many emails server wise. Thx for answering.
