Fossil Q Venture Gen 3 Battery Life?

I see that the Fossil Q Venture Gen 3 is rated about 1 day. Is that true or can it go longer?

I'd call it true. I put my Q Explorist on about 5:20 AM. When I take it off at 9:00 PM it usually had about 30% charge left. One time the charger had been knocked loose behind the nightstand so the watch didn't charge overnight. The next morning it still had about 10% charge thanks to the battery saver mode kicking in.

I'm running a custom watch face, which could be causing some additional battery drain, but in general the watch appears to hold up for a day. Longer would be nice but that is just the state of the technology currently.

My Explorist on a stock face with ambient ON will have generally 25-30% left on it, depending on how much I have used it during the day. (notifications, SMS responses, etc.)
When I use any Facer faces, the battery life is affected but it is still a solid day. One day, the battery technology will get to the point that these devices will last multiple days. But hey, we charge our phones every night, so I'm not really concerned about it until it doesn't last an entire day.
I need to turn Ambient off and see how it does.

Thanks for the input. My wife's new Venture is about 1 day...might be 1.5 days if she had a second charger at work so charge at the 1.5 day mark. We turned off WiFi and always on display and it helped. My Huawei Watch 2 Classic, with WiFi, Always On, and Huawei Health turned off is about 2 to 2.5 days.

Overall, my wife LOVES her Venture. Great looks and functionality.

I have Q Explorist and had a really bad experience because of the battery life.!!
I don’t know if the watch is defected or is it with this model only that the battery life is really really bad.!!
I charge my watch to 100% at 8 in the morning and around 2 in the afternoon, it’s over and goes into battery saver mode..
Sometime 10% is left, sometimes 15%..
I would really like to exchange it with a new one.
Mayb this watch is defected..
I live in ludhiana,Punjab,India.
And I don’t have a fossil showroom near me.!!
Help.!!
