IQ Agent Service (diagandroid.iqd)
This process is constantly running in application manager. I can stop it but it reappears minutes later....

Certain security packages can't be disabled

Sent from my Verizon iPhone 6s Plus

What carrier?

I'm with AT&T. If you go to application manager>running>android system: Services IQ Agent Service

After digging around online, apparently this is some sort of spy ware the carrier installs that is illegal?? Thats the best I could find online...
It's a HUGE battery waster. Really sad

I'm with T-Mobile.

I just checked my AT&T Note 4 and didn't see it in running processes or cached.

I'm with at&t and I don't have it. Strange!

I have two attorneys on staff that I'll be speaking with in the am about digging into this a little bit further. What I was able to find out online was that this is illegal to install and run in a customers device.....Will report back

Hi dpham00,
Nope....it's spyware installed by AT&T so they can collect data to better serve their advertisers. I will know more tomorrow after I speak with my attorneys and report back here. Depends on exactly how entangled this becomes but I may end up sending a cert letter to Randall Stephenson and Ralph de la Vega faster than I realize it..Worst case their taking this Note 5 back and I'll buy a euro version of it with zero carrier branding.

Please do. Very much appreciated. Spyware on my personal device put there by my wireless provider without my knowledge or consent? NO.THANK.YOU.
