Found a USB C to USB A Cable for $4.50

TechMatte got caught with their pants down on their adapter by the USB Vigilante.

If you're concerned about blowing up your computer or setting fire to a wall charger, it's best to stick with cables purchased from reputable retailers. Those from FRiEQ, Belkin, and iOrange all pass muster; steer clear of products from CableCreation, Monba, Kupx, Juiced Systems, Orzly, and TechMatte.

I'm going to guess that the cables have the same issue unless they've been updated in terms of specs.

I bought one last week for $9. It worked for file transfer from computer. It liooks like a well built cable but who knows what's inside.
I haven't used it to charge Phone. Think I'll wait...
I think most of the Amazon reviews are phony.
