Four Capacitive Buttons Stay on During Video Playback

I have noticed that the four capacitive buttons, (Home, Menu, Back, and Search) stay illuminated during video playback, and it can detract from the viewing experience. My father has a G2X and I have noticed that his buttons turn off after a few seconds of playing video.

Does the Sensation have a setting to shut these buttons off? I find it a bit distracting when watching Netflix etc in a dark room. The screen is gorgeous but those 4 huge bright buttons kind of kill it a bit.

May I ask what browser you're using to watch netflix?

Not using a browser. I am using the Netflix app. I had it backed up to my SD card when I had it installed on my Nexus One and I just installed it from the backup when I moved my SD card to the Sensation. Works fine.

Bump to see if anyone has a solution/suggestion for this...or if it will probably be a rootable fix.....
