Foxfi battery killer

I installed Foxfi a few days ago and started noticing faster than usual battery drain. I checked usage and it showed Foxfi at the top, draining 39% of my battery, even though I'm not actually running it.

Is there a way to rectify this without uninstalling Foxfi?
