foxfi problem

Hi all I recently bought the Moto z force but asked there about foxfi but someone said that the Moto turbo 2 had the same problem with foxfi not working and there was a fix by toggling network then activating hotspot before network came on? Can someone give me the breakdown of that process I did search with no luck
