Hi all!
I'm looking for an app for my android which hosts a network ON my android, while also being a tenant on that network... making sense?

...probably not.

I want to host a wifi network with my android but have my phone be discoverable ON that network by other devices attached.

Here's the problem I'm trying to solve.
I just returned from holiday, having taken two echo dots for music.
The hotel wifi was bad and the speakers worked sometimes.
I resolved to find bluetooth speakers, read reviews and Sonos (which I have a couple of systems at home) came out well.
Sonos Roam/Move work on BOTH wifi and bluetooth, but won't stereo pair on bluetooth, so back to square one.
I devised a way to connect sonos to my android hotspot, and THEN use and OLD ANDROID PHONE also connected to the same hotspot, to play music.
...it went well.
But I wonder if I can have an app on my current android that provides a network where my phone is also a device on the same network.
This would eliminate the need for the additional phone when I'm away.
A simple, paid, solution would be to buy a mobile router but I don't like spending money.
Any suggestions?
