After the ICS update I was checking out settings on my wifes Rezound and found that the FoxFi app will work.

Mind posting screenshots (or notes) of the settings you're using?

What devices are using your new hotspot?

My FoxFi will now try to connect (before it said it wasn't compatible after trying to connect) and show available devices, but won't connect. If you've got it working, I too would like to know what settings you are using.

Yes, how about the settings you are using, I have not had any luck with this either.

Sent from me.

I have tinkered with this for hours on two Rezounds and not been able to get it working, so I would be very interested how you got this working... I could always see it with laptop and other devices but never actually connect to it.

It kinda works with bluetooth. I gave up and turned on VZW paid service until something comes along that works. I am on my tablet now through the phone. This is easy to use and VERY fast with 4G data service on the phone. Does not seem to drain the extended battery in the RZ.

No free wifi where I am at, so I turned on hotspot, too. At least it is 20% off at the moment. I will turn it off, when I get home.

FoxFi does NOT work on an unrooted Rezound through wifi... period...

Considering his low post count and that he never returned with proof, I guess you called it right.

Sad thing is ... it wasn't even funny, or even slightly amusing for anyone. Yawn.

I use the paid App EasyTether that works great on my rezound. It is $9.99 but well worth it. I got rid of my $50 Verizon Charge.

Had to load PdaNet Tablet and connect with bluetooth but got my Rezound and Asus TF300 connected. A friend streamed live video from his Rezound to Transformer via bluetooth last week. Worked very well.
