Just checked my Oculus app and at the bottom of the store screen is a free Oculus Game bundle: Esper 2, Herobound: Spirit Champion, Star Chart, GUNJACK, Dead Secret & Keep talking and Nobody Explodes

not tried them yet (I'm at work) I have the free version of Herobound already and LOVE it! Of the other titles I'd actually considered buying them all apart from Star Chat so I'm pretty happy with the choices

Pop your phone into the VR for 5-10 seconds .. It will force it to go download the Oculus app.
Thanks for the reply, I stumbled upon the answer in another thread. I had a little card (AT&T US) that came with my Gear VR and it makes no mention of this; it says to make an occulus account, which I did on my PC, and then open the oculus app, which was nowhere to be found.
