agree it was scary for me as well ... my friend noticed my mobile phone usage and asked me how much time I spent on phone .. that encouraged me to write this app

Great idea, just installed the app and waiting for the results . It might be fun to add some warning messages for over-usage, which the user can customize.

I currently use "break free" as my phone usage app.
What makes your app different? I'd like to find something more intuitive (warnings would be good, i'm always "in the red" on break free)

I also use break free. You could make your app more unique if you were able to link it to other popular apps like Facebook or Whatsapp. Keeping track of how many Whatsapp messages have been send might be an interesting property and could grade up your app!

Instead of just tracking your phone use, you should try my app "Flipd". It helps you spend less time on your phone - but keeps you connected (phone calls, auto-response...). Could be helpful for someone who's 'always in the red'.
