So I received my S2 watch from the promo when I bought my S7 edge. It turns out to be the 3g model version for Verizon. Does anyone know how to go about activating it on my Verizon account? Is it even worth connecting it to 3g?

I love being about to work out and listen to my music... And not miss a call. And leaving my phone at home or inning the locker at the gym. It's only $5 a month for not having to carry my phone all over the gym 3 to 4 days a week. Or when i am out riding. Convenient for me.

All depends. If you want to use it as a stand-alone phone it'll cost you $/month I believe. Otherwise it will work just fine when paired to your phone via BT or when linked to your home or office WiFi network.

If you're never away from your phone save your money. If you want the freedom to leave the phone out of range for extended periods of time and have an extra $5 (plus fees) a month it's well worth the fee to stay connected in case of phone calls or messages.

I don't have a Blue Tooth set of headphones, I still carry my phone on me when I run.... and I'm still on Unlimited Data Plan, pulling ~60GB a month (which I'm told greatly complicates trying to add the watch to a sub line for $5)

So basically I didn't really have a use for the 3g activation.

Thanks guys my phone mostly is with me if I don't have it I don't need it...I knew it costed extra but looks like it might not be worth it.
