Free Google One AI Pro - 1 year trial

Just FYI, it looks like the one year free Google One AI Pro isn't available if you forget or remove it during the order process.

Generally, the offer used to pop up in the Google One app when you get a new device, like in the Pixel 9 series, Galaxy phones. But it looks like Google has changed that now and you'll have to add it during ordering the phone. It's no longer offered when you get the phone and open the Google One app.

At least for me, the free one year offer is not popping up. I removed it during the ordering process since my current Google One AI Pro trial was available until Jan and I wanted to claim the free promo then instead of now.

It didn't show up for me at all due to me having the google one plan thru tmobile.

Did you redeem the offer from your fold? Just went into the app and it's giving me that option. I wonder if I accept it am I able to go back and add the 1 yr from the 10 pro when I receive it

The one account I have Google one is across all my devices and currently at the 200gb for like 35.00 a year I'm debating getting this free for a year then 239.00 every year as I haven't filled up 200gb across 5 devices.

Yes I was on the 200 gb plan as well until last year when they gave a yr free with the pixel 9 pro. I don't use any of the features of the AI plan lol, but will try this time around. I'm just wondering if I can redeem my Samsung offers as well as the pixel 10 offer. That will give me 2 years free if possible. If not I'd rather the pixels one year over Samsungs 6 months.

If I go to the Google One app on my Fold 7, the 6 month free trial pops up.

But on my Pixel 10 Pro XL, the free trial is not popping up.

Never mind, false alarm

All I had to do was uninstall my Google One app on my 10 Pro XL and reinstall. After reinstalling, the free trial pops up.

My current trial expires on Jan 2026. So here is my plan:

Redeem the 6 month trial on my Fold 7 in Jan 2026 to get until July 2026.

Redeem the 12 month trial on 10 Pro XL in July 2026 to get until July 2027.

Yes, you can stack it up. First redeem the Samsung offer once the Pixel 9 Pro trial expires. Once the Samsung one expires, then claim the Pixel 10 Pro XL.

You have almost until November 2026 to claim the free trial from the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Similarly, with the Samsung offer, you'll have almost up to a year to claim the offer.

That's what I'm going to be doing, trying to plan and stack up in a way that will give me the maximum trial period.

As a test, I tried to accept the offer from the Z Fold 7, and it's extending my trial up to 6 months from now. I backed off at the confirmation screen since I'll do that when my Pixel 9 Pro XL trial expires in January.
