free music manager

I am looking to put my old cd's onto my pc then transfer them to my Galaxy S7edge. I need something fairly straight forward as I am no expert. What music manager would be the best?

Any tips greatly appreciated

I have ripped many CDs using Windows Media Player and its pretty straight forward. Do some googling on the process as there are a couple settings you should be aware of. Getting the mp3's from your computer to the phone depends on where you want to store them. I just took the SD card from the phone, put it in a card readed on the PC and copied the files over to a folder called 'Music'. Poweramp found them with no problem.

Just rip them as mp3s to your computer and upload them to Google music. Once you do that you never have to worry about moving your music around again.

I moved all mine from iTunes to Google music solely for the benefit of being able to easily access my music from any device and never having to move my files again. Upload once and I'm done.
