Check out MP3 Music Ringtone - DroidRing. It is a free app that has a huge library of songs. In fact it never has not had one I looked for.

+1. I'd tend to believe any popups were caused by something else. Thousands of people use Zedge with no hint of any such thing happening.

Yes, full-page pop-up that launched my browser and gave me a picture of a women spreading her hoo-ha for me to see.

Started within seconds of installing and using the app, and it stopped as soon as I uninstalled the app.

And the reviews on Google Play show I'm not the only one who has experienced this.

If others here have been using this app no issues, do you also have ad-blockers installed per chance or something else?

What a shame. Another good app may be down the drain. FWIW, I noted updates on 2 successive days. I wonder if a nasty managed to slip through and was caught & corrected by Zedge? If you understand how the app actually functions to source the content it's easy to see how difficult it is to exercise complete control. They have earned a good reputation for a long time though & have some credible endorsements. Let's hope this is a temporary lapse but if not, see ya'.

That sucks! I've only downloaded ringtones from Zedge on my desktop, then transferred them to my phone, so I haven't had to deal with the porn.

+1. Maybe a good sign (?), I got Zedge updates yesterday and again this morning & just downloaded a few tones just as a test with no popups & no problems. This was the first time I've used it for a while and unless I missed it, the porn popups occured only yesterday. I hope it was just a temporary blip on the radar but time will tell.
