Has anyone activated the free youtube premium yet? I do as my order page says but it still wants to charge me 11.99/mo This is what my order page says

"Open and log in to YouTube app on your new device. Go to My Account > Get YouTube Premium to redeem."

Do you already have YouTube premium or in the recent past? It's only for new customers. I'll get the offer too but I already have it.

Yes I had it free for 3 months and it expired last Thursday. I didn't see the part where its for new customers. Guess I didn't read the crappy fine print.

It happens. I always ignore that offer when I order phones cause of that very reason. lol. Unless they change it one day.

The ads are a pain, but i ain't paying 12 bucks a month to get rid of them. Most of them you can skip after 5 seconds anyway. More of an annoyance.

I understand that. Especially if that is all you would use it for. I do since I use the YouTube music a lot and get ad free videos plus a few other features.

I'm grandfathered in somehow from the early Google Play Music Preview of $7.99/mo for the current Youtube Premium which includes the music streaming. I'll never cancel and lose this price heh but I have been a loyal customer since the early preview of Google Play Music so I deserve it.

It's expensive but for me and my family it's definitely worth having YouTube premium family. My kids, wife, me all use lots of YouTube watching and it's well worth for me not having annoying ads on all my devices across all platforms on YouTube. Background play on iOS and YouTube music service are all extra bonus.

I haven’t paid for Premium for always two years. Been claiming the 4 months. lol

My old Z Flip3 and last promotion ends in June.

I just realized, find it funny Google doesn’t give out something similar or is it just in Canada?

I gotten so used to the premium benefits that I may join a group buy.

I like how on the Pre-Order page they SPECIFICALLY say the 4 months only works on new accounts for Youtube:

4 FREE months of YouTube Premium ($47.96 value, new accounts only)7"

7YouTube Premium: New users only (no past trial of YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red or Google Play Music)"

But for the 3 Free months of Spotify it just says:

"3 FREE months of Spotify Premium ($29.97 est. value)"

But apparently the Spotify is only for new accounts who never had premium before also. That was kind of annoying to find out cuz I already subscribe to Spotify and figured I'd get 3 free months. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.
