Frequent "web page not available"

Hi
I'm running Froyo on my Motorola Droid 1 and I frequently have problems connecting to web pages despite having a seemingly strong WIfi or 3g signal.

I.e. The stock news and weather app. When I attempt to click on and read a page directly from the site, I almost always get that error message.

Refreshes don't seem to help.

I also frequently get this with other websites , i.e. Default page.

At the same time, I went on my desktop computer and was able to load the site.

Been having a similar issue here with wifi. Started happening randomly after changing the theme on Sapphire 1.0 but carried over to CM6 RC3, SS 4.7 and the regular FRG01B OTA even after wiping everything clean. The wifi connected symbol stays in the status bar like it's still connected but the browser gives the "Webpage not available" message. Weird thing is I can ping the router using Terminal Emulator but can't ping google or anywhere else on the internet.

Actually, it does seem to be connected to the wifi toggling issue.

I'm also getting this problem with Google Search.

Me too. Other sites load nearly all the time. Google searches almost never do the last several days.

Also, mine does not appear to be related to wifi toggling as I rarely use wifi. It does it even after battery pulls, which probably don't do much but probably at least wipes out a wifi session.

For what it's worth, it is happening to me a lot - Samsung Galaxy 3, Android 4.4.2, Verizon plan. Sometimes I get through to the website by turning off the wireless connection and going through the Verizon plan.
