If any of you guys listened to the last podcast, you'll know that Adobe got me -- I'm converted and am a Flash believer.

What do you guys think? Anyone tried it and was surprised (good or bad)? Or do you just not care?

Haven't used it yet but as long as you can turn it off if you don't like it then I don't see how anyone could complain about it. It's always nice to have the option available.

My poor Hero is only able to run Flash Lite, courtesy of HTC, and I find it to be something useful to have. Of course, now all those pesky advertisements show up on the webpages, but since not every site has a mobile friendly version, and many sites do have Flash elements (menus, controls, animated parts), it can sometimes be a lifesaver. The full Flash for Froyo sound nice too, with the ability to load it on demand.

Yeah, my Hero is flash lite, too, but.... You can do surprisingly a lot with little ole flash lite. For instance... I go to shockwave everyday and do "The Daily Diff" Its an addictive game. I also do their jigsaw puzzle, which now has an IPad app. But... "The Daily Diff" works great. Its not quite as good as my desktop computer (did you expect it to be?) but its surprisingly good.

Just imagine if your computer didn't have flash.

Annoying eh?

And this says it all. Yes, flash runs poorly on Apple products. Yes it may very well be Adobe's fault. But you can not have a full web experience without flash. Maybe one day, but not now.

**you must spread some reputation around before giving it to GenericMessage again**

Even though all web-pages are now displayed like they would be on any computer, I don't see the benefit. (yet) Websites that stream video using flash don't work properly (every time there's a commercial break the video restarts), and flash has slowed down browsing big time. I don't game enough to make it worthwhile, so I don't get it.

I actually don't care for flash now that I have it, but then again, it's probably because I don't have a need for it yet.

For youtube videos that are usually posted on blog sites, I can usually click it and have them play in the youtube player.

But with that said, I still like to have the option. If I don't want it, I just want use it. If I do, I can fire it up.

I have 2.2 on my Droid and have used flash. While it's nice, I don't really care for it because all the websites I go to don't require it. But it works pretty nicely. Glad I have it there as a luxury.

i really don't care for flash too much. 9 times out of 10 when something goes wrong on my laptop it is due to flash crashing or becoming unresponsive. i'm pretty tech oriented and the only thing i can narrow it down to is the fact that flash is simply unstable. my phone is crucial to me and if it crashed half as much on that as it did on my laptop, i would have some serious issues. everyone makes a HUGE deal about it, but quite frankly it's just a reason for people to complain.

My laptop never crashes, it actually hasnt been turned off in about 3-4 weeks. not sure what your doing wrong. I would love to have full flash, when its set to ondemand its pretty much not there except when you want to see something that uses flash, that is the best way to do mobile flash imho

Which browser do you use that gives you the best Flash on EVO experience?
