I'll give a quick review of the Inc2 just to let you know what I think so far. It feels nice in the hand. The buttons are a different layout so that takes some getting used too. I don't like the volume buttons on the left side, its like this big long button and I'm always pressing it by accident.

The incredible 2 is a little lighter than the Fascinate. It does have a notification light which man i missed from having the SF. The screen looks pretty crisp, the text looks better than the SF but I say the colors were more vibrant on the Fascinate. One and Ultimate thing I miss from the Fascinate is the pull down wifi toggle and gps etc, that's hard once your used to that.

It doesn't have Swype so I had to download the swype beta. Once your used to swype, again its hard to go back. The phone is quick though, faster than the fascinate, with web browsing, opening apps, live wallpapers I think that's thanks to the added ram(768 MB RAM). There does seem to be a push email problem right now, not getting emails even when I hit refresh. Call quality I seem to be having a problem with I'm not sure if its my phone or the Inc2 itself, I can feel the speaker vibrating like its up to loud, but the voice on the other end doesn't sound that loud. Turning it down doesn't seem to help. Battery life seems a lot better than the Fascinate. I can get a whole day with texting, talking, web, games, downloading apps and its still good to go it took about 16 hours to turn to yellow battery bar. So battery seems good.

Not sure how I feel about htc's sense. I don't really like the htc dock I'd prefer icons. I do love htc's widgets though. The app drawer is different too, I kinda like it though, its paged but it still scrolls down. idk I wouldn't use your upgrade on the Inc2, I'd wait for a better more powerful phone. For me I got lucky and still keep my upgrade in june. Its a solid phone just nothing to great about it. I mean it does have a front facing camera, and a 8 megapixel back camera. I don't like how htc did the switching back and forth between the cameras. On the Inc2 you have to press menu key then switch to front or back. On the iphone or samsung galaxy devices with front facing cam, you just press a touch screen button to switch. Just there is nothing flashy about this phone, just kinda a phone. Overall its a good phone. I still miss many things about the fascinate. Just nothing to exciting about the phone. The screen tech nothing really there, the tech inside, htc sens 2.1, just this phone doesn't feel like there was much thought put into it. They just kinda released it hoping it would sell off its name. Like I said its not a bad phone just nothing special. There ya go. That's my review, I guess that wasn't quick. :-\

I like how you said quick review, but it was pretty comprehensive. Well at least you caught it.

Nice review. I'm looking at it mostly because its one of the only world phone choices that is likely to exist between now and July when I'll need one.

I'd imagine TW would take a bit to get used to, but you can just replace it with something like LauncherPro right? Then it would act the same as my fascinate right?

I agree - it did seem faster than the SF when I played with it.

Well adw ex would be like having touch wiz kinda. The phone might be right for you, it is a world phone that doesn't have any appeal to me. Its a solid phone just nothing amazing about it ya know what I'm saying? Buy it full retail and then sell it when you need to, its cheaper than most phones at full retail price. It does have a locked boot loader from what I understand, so rooting is going to take a while. Anyway play with it more in the store see what you think. Again not a bad phone just don't expect to be blown away by amazing screen tech or processor or something. The ram is great though. Good luck.

How do you find the battery life compared to the SF? It sounds like most of what you don't like is just the differences between then. I'd think I could get it set up fairly close to my SF except for the part where I can't root it and get rid of the bloatware. Maybe I'll get it and then sell it in the fall when the Galaxy S II's come out. one of the things I wonder is about the notification light. I loved it on my Blackberry and hated that the Fascinate doesn't have one, but now that I use NoLED its almost better because instead of just having 1 light for everything I now have different signals/icons for different things. Did you use NoLED and how do you like the LED on the Inc2?

Battery life is better. Right now it says unlugged for 17 hours, Its in the yellow. Its not like the fascinate when you see yellow its like oh I better plug in soon. So better battery life especially since froyo. I tried noled and it worked at first then it stopped working. So I uninstalled and didn't go back to it. It does have a notification light, orange for while its charging and green when its done charging. Flashing green when you have missed a call or something. Its behind the top speaker. I mean it does its job. There doesn't seem to be a way to customize it, make it different colors for different things. So overall I like the notification light, I think every phone should have one. yeah I would just buy it since you need a world phone, and then sell it. You might like it more than you think. Its growing on me. Like sense, the fact you can add different themes to it. Plus I found a app called widgetsoid, that lets you put notification bar wifi, gps toggle. Sense does have some nice stuff to it. The widgets it has are great. Give it a shot.
