Front facing camera looks fake?

So when taking photos with the front facing camera they lack detail and look "blurry"?

Its in the mode called selfie? Is there a "normal" mode? I turned everything under the "beauty" tab to zero.

what am i missing here? I want no filter or effects? Everything looks grainy and my skin has no "detail"?

Weird as hell. Not a defective camera but IDK??

Do you have beauty mode on? Click beauty and bring skin tone down to zero

Oh duh, sorry, I must have been really tired. If everything is set to zero it might be stuck at some setting? I'm not sure how you'd rectify it. Can you post some samples?

I think the "beauty" mode is suppose do do this, it's "air brushes" your face (I actually like it). Use normal mode or another mode.
