Froyo feature not working?

The Auto Dim as one of the on the power widget Here doesn't seem to be working on my Dinc.

Anyjuan else have it work or not?

You must have your automatic brightness on which will adjust your screen based on how bright its out. To change it back to manual go to settings>display>brightness> then just uncheck auto brightness.

With mine unticked in all three settings, it does not display the "a" in the middle of the widget on any setting.
When i go back and tick the box, still no "a"

OK I see what your saying now "about the A(autobrightness) not being on the widget bar". I think you can only set that by ticking the box in the setting, I dont know why the did not add that feature on the widget. I read about that in another thread is well .

Yeah, you guys aren't reading his post. Froyo was supposed to bring an option to turn on auto brightness from the settings widget (off, medium, max, auto). It is not here. Yes, you can still turn on auto brightness, but not from the widget, which is what was promised.

You can always use extended controls from the market it wont show the "a" but is customizable.

Or just make a short cut to the brightness in settings.

Extended controls is nice, but it still burns me that this relatively easy, minor, and convenient update got left on the cutting room floor.
