i have the evo 2.2 and wondering how different is this from the stock picture gallery. Heard reports that Froyo 3D gallery loads very slow. Can anyone confirm or deny using it on their Evo? Just want to get some feedback before i install.

Can some answer me one question. Why does everybody love this so much? I personally dislike it because i havea 32GB card filled with music and pictures. I have about 16 gigs with music and it finds all the album covers and creates folders for them like they are picture folders. It's kind of hard going thru that many folders to actually find one with pics that i'm looking for. It also move very very slow and I'm running the latest 2.2 on my EVO. Sorry just my opinon..

The easiest way to cut down on all the pictures in your music folders? Embed the album art in the file instead of having a jpg in the folder. Negates the issue altogether.

This works on 2.1 devices.

I tried this on my Captivate but it said it was a blocked sdk

I tried to install this from the Side Loader program and it said that the APK is already installed?

It is the official Google gallery applaction in stock Froyo builds like the N1, original Droid, etc. Like many stock Android apps, this is replaced in the sense UI with HTC's custom gallery app.

Is there any way to add different folders to the gallery. On the incredible only my downloads folders show up and not the pictures from /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA.

Same here...I get no pics from my internal memory whatsoever. I thought the Froyo version was suppose to fix this?
